Yes, of course, just let Davin or Jane know in advance.
Flights should be booked to Bangkok, as this is where you’ll find the best prices. A private bus will be arranged to take guests to Hua Hin at midday on the 27th of March. Hua Hin is also accessible by bus and train and taxi.
Of course, this depends on how long you would like to stay. We recommend making the most of it, as the flights will be the most expensive part — between 600 and 800 euros. Once you’re there, everything is cheap, with nice hotels easily found for €30 a night, as well as inexpensive food and drink. You can also use it as an opportunity to explore Asia, with flights to Japan available for as low as €200 return, and Hong Kong, Korea, or Bali for €150 return.
Formal summer wedding attire.
Right now, all rooms are reserved for us, so you won’t be able to book through third parties for the 27th and 28th. Just get in touch with Davin or Jane to reserve a room. The cost is a flat rate of 3,700 THB per night. Other venues nearby can be booked for as little as 600 THB.
Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you would like to give something, we’re saving for our first home. Any little help towards our deposit would mean the world to us.
Public transport is great in Bangkok, but taxis are cheap and straightforward. Drivers may try to charge you extra, so we recommend using Grab — it’s a local app similar to Uber. That way, fees are fixed and transparent. When outside Bangkok, car rental is a great option, especially if you’d like to see many places. They even drive on the same side of the road as in Ireland, so you should feel right at home. Renting a car can be as cheap as €15 per day.
Apps like Revolut are generally the easiest and cheapest ways to pay. For cash, you can exchange it at kiosks in the airport.
